Brandi Callison, MA
MFT Registered Intern
Brandi believes everyone is unique and naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. She uses this approach with everyone she encounters, both in therapy sessions and in everyday life. Her specializes include working with children and adolescents, trauma, grief and bereavement, and addiction. She is committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for each client.
Brandi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Religious Studies with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2009. She went on to earn her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Jungian Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2014.
Before coming to Chico Creek Counseling, Brandi spent several years working for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She served as the Program Director of the LA Warmline and as a Community Outreach Co-chair. There, she educated mentally ill individuals, their loved ones, and other mental health professionals to navigate through life’s challenges.
More About Brandi
Brandi is a fifth generation Southern California native. In early 2017, she relocated to wonderful Chico from the greater Los Angeles area. She is happily married to a retired Marine Corps Veteran and has four grown children, two sons and two daughters. She proudly boasts about her first grandson, born in June 2017.
When not reading, Brandi enjoys getting out in nature. She loves backpacking in Yosemite or hiking in Bidwell Park with her husband and her dogs, Jasper, Butch, Sitala and Sam.
